Welcome to Fulwell

Fulwell is a small suburb located on the edges of Twickenham, Teddington and Hampton Hill, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Although the Royal Mail does not actively recognise Fulwell as a place name, the area retains its identity mostly by Fulwell Railway Station, and by its history of Fulwell Lodge and its surrounding estate, later becoming Fulwell Park, now occupied partly by Fulwell Golf Course. Royal Bushy Park, with its beautiful open spaces, secret gardens and array of wildlife including free to roam deer, offer a tranquil escape to unwind from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Fulwell is home to a range of transport links in and out of London and the South East. For the commuter, Fulwell Railway Station, offers routes to and from London Waterloo and Shepperton, while Fulwell Bus Station is the terminus for many routes in and out of London, Kingston, Heathrow Airport, Surrey and the South East, day or night. For the motorist, Fulwell benefits from easy access to the nearby A316, M3 and A3 as well as routes throughout the local area.

Property in Fulwell, comprises a mix of 1930's, Victorian, Edwardian and modern era architecture. The majority of the area was developed by the Wates Group, after they purchased Fulwell Lodge following the passing of the exiled King Manuel II of Portugal. Fulwell Lodge was subsequently demolished and redeveloped for Housing and the Portuguese connection remains in the road names such as Manoel Road, Lisbon Avenue, Augusta Road and Portugal Gardens. The area is a popular suburb to live in for families with its attractive tree lined streets, fantastic local schools, array of public parks and amenities including Fulwell Golf Course.
